Tunisia have recently signed the Financing Agreement with the European Commission. Following Syria, Jordan, the Palestinian Authority and Lebanon, five countries have signed the Financing Agreements up to now.

According to article 10 of the ENPI CBC Implementing Rules (EC Regulation No 951/2007), Financing Agreements shall be signed by Mediterranean Partner Countries before 31st December 2009 in order to allow subjects belonging to these eligible territories to receive Programme funds.
