Following the ESPON "Europe in the World" report, a comparative survey on the influence of Mediterranean area in a global context is elaborated by PLURAL European Study Centre. MED in the World: networking, multivel governance experiences and best practices in the basin area are described in the framework of Medgovernance project. Interviews with academic professors and relevant stakeholders from the five continents are present to enrich the the "exchange of sight" approach and proceed to elaborate suggestions for new macro region perspectives.
